Waukegan Man Arrested For Attempted Murder

Juan Colon, of Waukegan, was arrested and brought to the McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility on May 27, 2022, for an attempted murder stemming from a road rage incident.

On April 24, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 800 block of Black Partridge Road, in unincorporated McHenry, for a report of shots fired.  The investigation revealed two unknown males who were occupants in the same vehicle were involved in a road rage incident with another vehicle. That incident led to shots being fired into the victim’s vehicle.  The victim was uninjured during the shooting.

Investigators learned the identity of the two offenders and they were identified as Juan Colon and Joseph Crisara.  Crisara was arrested five days later at his residence in the 300 block of Tulip Circle, Island Lake, where he was found in possession of a large amount of narcotics.  An arrest warrant for attempted homicide was issued for Colon and he was arrested last week in Lake County.
