On December 8, 2023, McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force and SWAT Team arrested three people on various drug and gun charges after executing a search warrant on a home in the 7100 block of Chippewa Drive in Wonder Lake.
Three subjects were taken into custody for charges outlined below:
Alexander F. Henson; 39 years of age of Wonder Lake
- Possession of Firearm by Felon (prior conviction) – Class 2
- Possession of Firearm Ammunition by Felon (prior conviction) – Class 2
- Possession of Firearm by Felon (prior conviction) – Class 2
- Possession of Firearm Ammunition by Felon (prior conviction) – Class 2
- Possession of Controlled Substance – Class 4
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Class A
Ericka L. Mowers; 32 years of age of Wonder Lake
- Possession of Controlled Substance – Class 4
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Class A
Allen L. Austin IV; 32 years of age of Wonder Lake
- Unlawful Possession of Firearm with revoked FOID – Class 3
The charges against these individuals are merely allegations against them. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
