McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Bill Prim are excited to announce the release of a new smartphone application. This app will serve as a new way for the Sheriff’s Office to connect with McHenry County residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office smartphone app was developed by TheSheriffApp.com, a division of OCV, LLC. The app offers quick access to items of public interest and is easy to use. In just a few taps, users can:

- Find the most updated information on inmates at our facility.
- Learn of local sex offenders in McHenry County.
- Get local forecasts and updated alerts about impending weather.
- Read the Sheriff’s Office’s press releases and stay informed of happenings in the county.
- Reference any important information about jail visits, mail, commissary, and more.
- Fill out forms easily from your phone like House Watch, Speed Watch, or Traffic Details.
