On August 5, at about 1:00 p.m., the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, the Crystal Lake Police Department, and the Crystal Lake Fire Department responded to a crash involving a car and an electric bike on Walkup Road and Dvorak Road in unincorporated Crystal Lake.
The driver of the electric bike, a juvenile, was transported by ambulance to Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Major Crash Investigation Unit.
