The Sheriff's office uses intelligence-led policing to identify crime trends and direct deployment of resources.  Intelligence-led policing is a collaborative effort based on improved intelligence operations and community-oriented policing and problem solving.  Intelligence-led policing increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational units.
