Press Release- Elkhorn Wisconsin Resident Arrested for Multiple Counts of Theft

The McHenry County Sheriff's Office arrested an Elkhorn, Wisconsin resident for multiple counts of Theft. The Sheriff's Office Investigations Division initiated an investigation after a business located in Hebron determined that between 2010 and 2012 an employee had used her company credit card for personal and work related expenses. That employee was subsequently reimbursed by her employer for the professional expenses. The employee then unlawfully electronically transferred funds from a bank account owned by the business to pay the personal expenses charged.

The investigation culminated with the arrest of Kristin Lauderdale by members of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. Lauderdale was taken into custody on October 10, 2013 and is being held at the McHenry County Correctional Facility.
